The College Orientation You Wish You Had.
The Orientation
"The Orientation" Film Festival is a college senior's capstone project focused on bringing light to topics that are not normally discussed on a college campus. Through using different forms of media (drama/comedy/documentaries/shorts), the three day event aims to shine a light on a variety of topics (drugs and alcohol, dating, sexual assault, mental health etc.). Essentially "The Orientation" serves as the college orientation we wish that we had.
Purpose
The Film Festival aims to break the stigmas associated with many issues that college students face and through film help to show students that they are not alone.

Natalie Taylor Scholarship
The goal of the Natalie Taylor Scholar Program is to formally engage students in service experiences embedded in their academic and co-curricular experiences. The program was created to recognize and reward community and civic engagement and will distinguish students who have committed themselves to service, community engagement, and social responsibility.
About the Theme
The college experience exists as a part of a bubble in day to day society. As a result, students often get caught up in the high stress environment while also being faced with a variety of issues both internally and externally. This senior project hopes to show students that they are not alone and that while each student experience is different, we can all relate to one another.
